Who I am

I'm Javier, a CS student and solo founder who builds software that solves real problems. My approach is simple: pick a problem, ship something, and iterate fast.

I don't wait until I feel "ready." I learn on the fly, figure things out in the open, and let the work speak for itself. My latest is JobTailor, a live AI job application tool with a Chrome extension, Stripe billing, and 182 automated tests, built from scratch.

When I'm not coding, I'm thinking about what to build next.

What it does

JobTailor accepts jobs from any source: paste a hiring.cafe URL, copy a description from LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, or any board, or capture with the Chrome extension in one click. Two parallel AI prompts generate a tailored ATS-friendly resume and a role-specific cover letter simultaneously, then validate output against word count and bullet density — expanding sparse results automatically without inventing facts. Every generation shows a Job Match Score (0–100%), matched strengths, skill gaps, and a list of specific optimizations made. Jobs process sequentially as a batch (up to 5 at once), each packaging into a downloadable ZIP saved to your account history.

The vision

Most people lose out not because they're underqualified. Their application just doesn't speak the recruiter's language. One-click resume generators hand you a generic document and call it done. JobTailor is built around a different idea: any job from any source, rigorous AI tailoring with full transparency into what changed and why, and a human-supervised pipeline so nothing falls through the cracks after you hit send.
